Each September, the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) of Mount Laurel, NJ, leads an awareness campaign to alert parents and caregivers on the importance of properly choosing and using the best products according to a child’s age and developmental stage as outlined by the manufacturer.

Britax is committed to helping keep young ones safe by spreading the word about baby safety. As a proud Baby Safety Month Ambassador, Britax is collaborating with Bright Horizons to support the JPMA by organizing online educational events and fantastic giveaways!

Thursday, 9/8 (11:00am ET) - Tune in to learn from Claire Goss, Manager of Family Education and Resources at Bright Horizons, who will be talking about early childhood development and safety.
Thursday, 9/15 (3:00pm ET) - Join Britax & Bright Horizons, along with Sarah Tilton, Director of Consumer Advocacy at Britax. She’ll be discussing and demonstrating how to properly choose and use rear-facing car seats for the best fit to the vehicle and child. She’ll also be giving an overview of Child Passenger Safety Week.
Thursday, 9/22 (3:00pm ET) - Claire Goss and Sarah Tilton are back! Sarah will be discussing and demonstrating how to choose and use forward-facing car seats for the best fit to the vehicle and child. She’ll also be giving an overview of Seat Check Saturday.

Meet the Experts

Who is Sarah Tilton?

Sarah Tilton is the Director of Consumer Advocacy at Britax. She is an active CPS Technician (2002-Present) and Instructor (2004-Present), Sarah is deeply embedded in the study and advancement of child passenger safety. She is the Britax Americas safety spokesperson within the advocacy community participating in public outreach programs, practical automobile safety training research as well as child passengertechnician training.

Who is Claire Goss?

Claire Goss is the Manager of Family Education and Resources at Bright Horizons. Claire oversees outreach to Bright Horizons families to include and support them throughout their child’s education. She holds a master's degree in child development from Tufts University and has worked for 15 years as a parenting and child development educator, researcher, and writer, while raising three children of her own. Claire is a contributor and moderator for family webinars and the Bright Horizons early education podcast series, “Teach. Play. Love. Parenting Advice for the Early Years.”
