Fall Family Fun Checklist
Enjoy the change of seasons with these 5 family activities!
Fall is on the way again, which means the weather is nice, the leaves are changing, and there are plenty of fun activities for the whole family! Take advantage of those crisp, cool days by spending time outside exploring with your little ones. From pumpkin patches and picnics to apple farms and backyard activities, our checklist will help you meet your quota for fall fun!
☑ Jumping in Piles of Leaves
Fall is the perfect time of year to get out of the house and spend the day in the yard. Help your kids gather up all the fall foliage and dive right in. It may seem like a simple activity, but trust us—your little ones will have a ball!
☑ Going on a Picnic
Pack up all your favorite snacks and go on a bike ride or hike. Wherever you end up, lay out the blanket and have a family-sized feast. All it takes is a large basket, a few PB&J sandwiches and your loved ones to turn a regular day into an autumn adventure.
☑ Taking a Nature Hike
There’s nothing like enjoying the great outdoors this time of year. Pack some waters and snacks and gather up the family for a nature hike this fall. Collect some leaves while you're out and about... they'll come in handy for the next activity on the list!
☑ Crafting with Leaves
With so many beautiful leaves piling up on the ground, it’s a shame to let them go to waste. Spend the day collecting leaves and then use them to make crafts. There are hundreds of crafts you can create, but some of our favorites are leaf-print tote bags, autumn wreaths and decorative pumpkins. (Maybe even the ones you got from the pumpkin patch).
☑ Playing Flag Football
The weather is perfect for a friendly game of flag football. Invite other families in the neighborhood and make an event out of it.
Do you and your family have a fun activity you enjoy in the fall? We’d love to hear about in on Facebook!
