Beginning at a minimum child capacity of four pounds, all Britax infant car seats offer the exclusive Britax Safety including SafeCell Technology and an industrial-strength steel frame in the base. SafeCell Technology acts as a crumple zone, helping to absorb crash energy. The high-strength steel frame reinforces the car seat’s base to help keep it stabilized. The new infant car seats also offer layers of side impact protection to help protect baby’s head, neck, and spine through a maximum child capacity of 35 pounds and 32 inches.

Britax listened to parents asking for more space for their babies to grow and gave the new B-Safe Gen2 line of infant car seats a roomier seating area. The spacious comfort enhancements provide a more enjoyable ride for all babies, without altering the exterior shell width, so the car seat will not take up any additional space in the vehicle. Redesigned covers are now tagless and made with a soft-touch knit fabric that provides a smooth surface for baby’s tender head. The new spacious seating area offers plenty of room to grow, while improved cover set designs keep babies extra comfortable on every outing.
