FORT MILL, S.C. – October 18, 2016: Britax Child Safety, Inc. is celebrating the 50^th anniversary of the first Britax child car seat at the ABC Kids Expo taking place October 18-21 in Las Vegas, NV. In 1966, Britax introduced the company’s first child restraint system in Europe, then entered the U.S. market in 1996. Today Britax is one of the most trusted brands used by American parents.

Britax comes to the ABC Kids Expo with a new president of the Americas, Maria Montaño. Montaño was named president of Britax Americas in July 2016, joining the company with more than 15 years of executive experience in General Management and Strategic Planning with Nike, Univision, and most recently Bugaboo.

• 2017 B-Ready: The latest stroller to hit the market from Britax creates a solution for navigating family life with its 12 seating options. The 2017 Britax B-Ready Stroller offers a sleek design and on-the-go adaptability to virtually any scenario, helping families go and grow together.
• ClickTight Convertibles with Anti-Rebound Bar: Britax recently announced updated versions of its Advocate ClickTight and Boulevard ClickTight convertible car seats that now include an Anti-Rebound Bar on certain fashions as an added safety feature for rear-facing passengers.
• Stroller Strides & Ironman Strollers: BOB Gear has recently updated the Stroller Strides Fitness Stroller and the IRONMAN to include 15 percent more storage space, a fully upright seating position, and an adjustable padded handlebar, just to name a few.
• New Fashions for 2017: Britax is showcasing fun new car seat fashions.
