Consumer goods veteran seeks to add new talent across product development and design, marketing, finance, supply chain and sales

FORT MILL, S.C. – January 8, 2019: Britax Child Safety, Inc., U.S. manufacturer of car seats and a leader in child passenger safety technology, has named Robert McCutcheon as president and managing director of the Americas region. McCutcheon will lead Britax to strengthen its position as an innovator in car seat safety and stroller mobility, while adding fresh perspectives to the organization with new talent.

McCutcheon has more than 20 years of experience working at companies including Gillette/Proctor & Gamble and Conagra Brands, where he most recently served as president of the grocery and snacks division. McCutcheon earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in business from Arizona State University.
In his new role, McCutcheon will focus on growing Britax car seats & strollers and the BOB Gear line of jogging strollers in North and South America by building these great lines with differentiated product innovation and impactful brand building. To support those efforts, he is working to immediately fill more than 25 new roles in product development and design, marketing, finance, supply chain and sales.
